Born in New Orleans, and raised along the gulf coast of Mississippi, Lorraine enjoyed a playful and imaginative childhood where she and her siblings were in constant exploration of the woods and waterways around their home. She attended the University of New Orleans, where she completed a bachelors degree in English Literature, and for five years she taught creative writing and art to kids with the national arts program Young Audiences.
In 2016 she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, and through this experience decided to switch career paths in pursuit of massage and bodywork. A year later she completed a 700-hour program at the Cayce/Reilly School of Massage in Virginia Beach, VA and ultimately a 7 month program at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO where she became a certified Rolfer.
Today, Lorraine lives in New Orleans with her husband, their three cats and two rats.
